This is one the oldest and most famous hamams in the city, designed by Sinan, the most important architect in Turkish history, in 1584! The architecture of Çemberlitaş bath attracts not only travelers but also many locals. The hamam is located in the old town, close to the Grand Bazaar and to the Çemberlitaş tram station. Besides the traditional scrub and massage, offers also other kinds of massages such as aromatherapy, oil massage, head massage etc...

 

Cağaloğlu Hamamı

Cağaloğlu Hamam

This Hamam is located close to Grand Bazaar. It was built in 1741 by two different Ottoman era architects. It is a beautifully detailed building with high domed ceilings, internal marble fountains, interior garden, and two levels of individual changing chambers

 

Ayasofya Hürrem Sultan Hamamı

Ayasofya Hürrem Sultan Hamamı

This is another hamam with 500 years of history. It was renewed in the last years and, having had a 17 million liras investment! Today it is one of the most luxurious options when choosing a hamam. It was built where the ancient public baths of Zeuxippus (100-200 AD) used to stand, in the middle of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia! This is also one of the fanciest hamams in Istanbul...
